Community Partners
Walking humbly means knowing that we cannot fight hunger alone. Here are some of the organizations that make the work that we do possible. Together, we can serve hungry people in Austin and Travis County.

Sunshine Community Gardens has been providing growing space for Austin residents for more than 50 years. The gardens are near the Triangle in North Austin, and include a contemplative garden, tomato testing garden, and the Micah 6 garden that grows fresh produce for our food pantry. During the growing season, volunteers deliver fresh picked produce each Saturday morning, where it goes directly to tables for shoppers. Fresh peppers are a favorite!

Keep Austin Fed is a champion for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. They serve our community through the redistribution of wholesome, nutritious food. Each day, KAF volunteers rescue surplus food from restaurants and catering events and deliver it throughout the greater Austin area. Through their efforts, thousands of tons of high quality food goes to hungry people instead of the landfill. KAP sometimes shares a large donation with Micah 6. They also can pick up surplus produce from the food pantry.
